Maintains stock from national and regional suppliers; keeps contact with distributors and handles our accounts with them; price products; fields member requests for new items. This committee currently meets once a week (Sunday 6 pm); orders are placed Monday mornings and shipments are received and stocked Tuesday mornings.

Organizes and researches information on all the products stocked (and potentially stocked) by the co-op so that our members and the greater community can make informed decisions concerning their consumption. Factors currently researched: nutrition information, distance and means of the shipment of food from production to our store, the wages and conditions of the workers who harvested, processed, and transported the product, the means by which the food was processed, the business practices of the companies that produce our food.
