Membership:
This committee receives membership payments, organizes all membership information, and assigns member cards.

Regulations:
This committee determines the local, state, and federal permits and licenses necessary to the function of our organization.

Finance:
This committee handles all financial issues of the organization. This includes such tasks as maintaining a budget, dispersing funds, organized book keeping, etc.

Organizing:
This committee facilitates internal cooperation between the committees and between the committees and the membership as a whole.

Fundraising:
This committee creates various benefits such as concerts, art autions, etc., screen prints t shirts and bags, and handles all merchandise to help raise the Bread and Roses start up capital.

Equipment:

This committee locates affordable equipment necessary for opening the cooperative, such as refrigeration units, bulk bins, shelving, etc.

Produce/Local Growers:
This committee is responsible for locating local growers who have produce and goods that can be distributed through the cooperative.

Community Outreach:
This committee searches for other community-oriented groups and projects with which to collaborate, creating mutually beneficial relationships.

Distribution:

This committee determines through which distributors Bread and Roses will purchase stock as well as what items we will carry.

Scheduling:
This committee creates the schedules for member work hours.

Procedures:
This committee assembles the member manual, which will include information on work slots, taking leave,  disciplinary procedures, submitting agendas for meetings, etc.

Construction:
This committee is responsible for the preparations of our new location such as any painting, cleaning, and assembling shelving units.

This committee builds a long term, easy to navigate website to provide information for both members and non-members about the cooperative.
